Sources

Specifications come from manufacturer websites, manuals and official listings. General brewing guidance follows widely accepted principles such as the Specialty Coffee Association's brewing guidelines. When sources disagree, we use the manufacturer's current figure or omit the number.

No fabricated testing

We do not invent measurements, lab results, star ratings, user testimonials or "hours of testing". If a guide is based on research rather than hands-on use, it says so. We don't use Review or AggregateRating structured data.

Editorial review flags

Facts that couldn't be confirmed against a primary source before publication are either removed or stated as "check the current listing". Each article keeps an internal list of items for the editor to re-verify on every update.

Independence

Affiliate revenue never influences rankings. Brands cannot pay for placement.

Updates and corrections

We review guides periodically, show the last updated date on every article and fix reported errors promptly. Report a correction.
